In 2018 the less frequently given name Stanley, ranked the 707th Most Popular Boys Name in the United States.

Presently one of the top 1000 most popular, Stanley has been a top 1000 placer since the Social Security Administration began keeping records in 1880.

Its highest popularity RANKING of #34 was reached for the first time in 1915 and as recently as 1917.
