Pregnancy Week 2
The second week of your menstrual cycle is actually considered the second week of your pregnancy, even though you are not yet pregnant.
Around the seventh day, one of the developing follicles will become dominant. This follicle will contain the egg that will be released that month.
The lining of your uterus, the endometrium will become thicker in preparation for implantation should the released egg become fertilized.
You may ovulate by the end of this week.
If you wish to become pregnant, now is the time to begin having unprotected sex.
